Mishkan HaNefeshDuring our High Holy Day services on Zoom, the pages from our prayerbook, Mishkan HaNefesh, will be projected onto your screen as part of the service, allowing you to follow the liturgy in Hebrew, English or transliteration. However, if you would like to have independent access to the prayerbook, there are a few options.
The Central Conference of American Rabbis (CCAR) is making a free online "flipbook" available of Mishkan HaNefesh for both Rosh Hashanah and Yom Kippur. The flipbooks will require the use of an internet device (phone, tablet or computer) in addition to the device you use to participate in the Zoom service. The CCAR has also provide a guide on how to use flipbooks. It is also possible to purchase a discounted Kindle ebook version of the prayerbooks which can be viewed on any device using the free Kindle app. The ebook can be fully downloaded to your device and will not require its own internet connection during the service. For a limited time, the CCAR is offering a 20% discount on Mishkan HaNefesh. You can purchase your own physical copies from the CCAR website. Use the code MHN2020 to receive the discount. |
