Building Bridges:
An Evening of Conversation
​between Muslims and Jews

Building Bridges is a collaborative project that brings Jews and Muslims together to learn about each other's traditions, cultures and beliefs, and to build real relationships between individuals that can help heal divisions based on prejudice and ignorance.

We launched the project last April when a group from Temple Sinai went to the home of a Muslim family for an Iftar dinner (the end-of-day meal to break the fast on each day of Ramadan). In August, we met at Temple Sinai to learn about Jewish beliefs and practices.

Our next event is on Saturday, November 5, at Masjid Al Rahman (the mosque in Pawtucket) at 6:30 PM. There will be a tour of the building and an overview of Islamic practices followed by a dinner of Mediterranean food. Fill out the form below to register.
