Kosher Senior Café
Temple Sinai is a host site for Jewish Collaborative Services of Rhode Island's Kosher Senior Café. The program, offers kosher meals and socializing for older adults and those with physical disabilities. Meals are served at Temple SInai each Friday.
In addition to a delicious hot meal at noon, there are often programs before and after the noon meal. Programs include lectures and films, music, bingo, dance therapy, blood pressure screening, and kibbitz groups led by JCS staff. Participants quickly become part of a vibrant community.
Reservations are required two days in advance for meals, and there is a suggested donation of $3 per meal. There is no charge for scheduled social activities.
Check out the JCS website for a link to a monthly calendar of programs and menus.
