TUESDAY, AUGUST 4, 7PM
Dr. Jon Greenberg: Science and Torah
Dr. Jon Greenberg is an ethnobotanists, a leading scholar of plants and nature in the Bible and Jewish tradition. His brilliant insights bring together the Bible and botany in ways that enliven both. On Tuesday, August 4, at 7PM, he will be coming to Temple Sinai to give a talk, "Etrog Detectives, Pomegranate Barbecue Physics, and Redefining Up and Down: Some Puzzles and Solutions in Science and Torah," on the many apparent conflicts between science and Torah and how they can be solved with a little digging – both figurative and literal. Free for all. In the Chapel and on Zoom.
