New Temple Sinai
What is the "New Temple Sinai Project"?
There is so much that we love about Temple Sinai – its warmth, its intimacy, the way that our members care for each other, support each other through hard times, and celebrate our joyous occasions together. We also know that in changing times like these, it is important for our congregation to reflect on our mission, review our goals, and make plans to adapt to a changing world. To do that well, we have to listen to the people who make Temple Sinai such a great spiritual home for us all. "The New Temple Sinai Project" is an opportunity to help shape the future of our congregation. It starts with a conversation about what Temple Sinai means to you and your vision for our future. Over the next few months, we will have a series of small group conversations with members to talk about the meaningful experiences you have had at the Temple, your perceptions of the Temple's standing in the community, what you find most important about the congregation's past and its future. Each meeting will last about 90 minutes. This is a serious and important step in our process to plan the future direction of our Temple. Please look at the list of dates below. Select a meeting at a time that fits your schedule. Most of the meetings will be at the Temple or on Zoom. Each meeting will be moderated by members of the "New Temple Sinai" Committee, which includes President Gregg Rosen, Sandy Maldavir, and past Temple Presidents Sherry Kriss, Irene Fordon-Abbott, and Ellie Wasser. Thank you in advance for participating in this project. Together we will renew our community with vision and the promise of new beginnings. |
