PrayerbooksNow that we are back in-person for our Shabbat services, we are pleased to use actual, hardbound books in our Sanctuary and Chapel. Of course, there are prayerbooks at the Temple for all in-person participants. However, for those viewing on Zoom, we are not always able to place a virtual prayerbook on your screen. (Note: We will use on-screen prayerbooks for all-virtual services. We are working on setting up a system for virtual prayerbooks on Zoom for our in-person services, too).
You have a few options for reading along with the service liturgy on Zoom. • For our weekly Shabbat services on Friday night and Saturday morning, you can order your own copies of Mishkan Tefilah, a Reform Siddur. If you wish to take advantage of the congregation's 20% discount, send your order to the Temple office before August 1. • If you have a separate device to read the prayerbook (a Kindle or a tablet that supports the Kindle app), you can purchase the Kindle Edition of Mishkan T'filah. • You can also view the free Mishkan T'filah Shabbat flipbook online. You will need a separate device to view the flipbook. It cannot be downloaded or saved. • For the High Holy Days, you can order your own copies of Mishkan HaNefesh: Machzor for the Days of Awe. • If you have a separate device to read the prayerbook (a Kindle or a tablet that supports the Kindle app), you can purchase the Kindle Editions of Mishkan HaNefesh for Rosh Hashanah and for Yom Kippur. • You can also view the free Mishkan HaNefesh flipbooks online for Rosh Hashanah and Yom Kippur. (Click on the link, scroll down the page, and click on the image of the book you wish to open). You will need a separate device to view the flipbook. It cannot be downloaded or saved. |
